Model 711 Lounge Chair designed by Fredrik Kayser for Vatne Lenestolfabrikk Norway 1960’s. This remarkable Norwegian modern design are detailed with brass buttons and a solid rosewood frame with really nice patterns. Newly reupholstered in a beautiful black leather at Vatne Lenestolfabrikk. Measures: 73 cmH, 66 cmW, 60 cmD. Seating height: 41 cm, depth: 50 cm.

Fredrik Kayser (1924-1968) was an outstanding furniture designer in the Scandinavian Design period in the 1950s / 60s. His furniture was characterized by elegant design and material sensitivity. Several of his furniture has long gone into the design history and he is very well known for the Cross Chair, 711. 108 and Please Sit. In the period 1952 to 1956 Kayser again worked for Rastad & Relling.
