Karl Erik Stig Ekselius (1914 - 1998) was a Swedish midcentury furniture designer. Ekselius was eduacated in the 1930s at Carl Malmsten and later in Germany. He worked at JOC Möbel AB in Vetlanda as an employee and from 1961 as owner. Inspired by Danish design, he designed furniture for companies where he had his breakthrough at the H55 exhibition in Helsingborg in 1955. He subsequently became more international in his design, as is evident in the furniture he designed for the Dag Hammarskjöld Library in New York.
