The Norwegian Design Classic Ola desk (Ola pulten) by John Texmon. Late 1950´s. Produced by Blindheim Møbelfabrikk. In mahogany and back in black melamine. 3 drawers with a key. Beautiful design and lovely patina. Total height: 100 cm. Height of desk: 71 cm, width: 103 cm, depth: 50 cm.

Interior architect John Texmon (1928) was born in Senja, Troms county, Norway.
In 1957 he designed The Ola desk. It was ideal with the large plate, three drawers with space and shelf for books. Thanks to the thin, round and tapered legs, the Ola desk conveyed a light and airy impression. The Ola desk was available in teak, mahogany and beech. For each of the wooden combinations, it came with backs and drawers in the color combinations black, gray or blue.
The Ola desk became a classical and the company had difficulty producing in line with demand.
