Rectangular coppertray designed and made by Bjørn Engø (1920-1981) with beautiful blue coloured enamel and different shades. From Bjørn Engø`s own workshop. 1960's. Size: 41.5 x12 cm.

Bjørn Engø (born 1920 in Oslo, died 1981) was a Norwegian interior designer, designer and enamel artist. He was educated at the state craft and art industry school in Oslo. In the 1950s, Bjørn Engø formed the models for the elming company Emalox at Ryen, Oslo. Bowls, dishes, candlesticks and vases, all in aluminum, were "enameled" in many different strong colors.
In his own workshop Bjørn Engø worked with enamel on copper and it was often solid barrel with decor in several colors. He also worked with large ornamental assignments in metal and enamel.
