This large jug-handled vintage vase was produced under the 1970s by Scheurich, West Germany. It is brown at the top with an earth coloured circle motive around the body. Fat Lava style painting on a yellow base and floating brown color over matte glazed finish and stamped underneath the base with W. Germany 408-40.
Measures: 40 cm H x 20cm D. Opening on top 10 cm D. West German art pottery is well-known for its great variety of forms and expressive midcentury colors. Since the 2000s, ceramic West German vintage Art Pottery has become increasingly collectible. Good vintage condition.
