Lovely mid-century brass candlestick holders by Swedish designer Lars Holmström, Arvika - Sweden 1960s. The candleholders are both beautiful, classic, unique and are stunning on the table, window or island. Marked underneath with label Lars Holmström, Arvika. Good vintage condition. Measures: 24cmH x  10.5cmD. 

Lars August Holmström was born 1894 in Gävleborg County and died in Båstad. Swedish mid-century artsmith.
Lars Holmström participated in the Paris Exhibition and hit here with candlesticks and chandeliers and also with silver work. He is mentioned in French art magazines, where his work is referred to as masterpiece of art.
