White glass tablelamp pair by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors, Sweden 1960s

Lovely midcentury pair of white glass table lamps model RD1566 designed by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors Glass, Sweden 1960s. Inner white crystal glass core surrounded by a clear glass cover. metal details on top. The lamps are heavy with elegante shape and conical design. Signed Orrefors and RD1566.
Measures: 36.5 cmH (incl bulb socket) x 12 cmL x 7.5 cmW. Very good vintage condition.
Lampshades are not included.

Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a talented Swedish lighting designer working at Orrefors glassworks between 1946-1980. He achieved great success with lighting systems for General Motors and the Kennedy Center in the United States.
