Beautiful and highly decorative brutalist Stainless Steel bowl from the "Steel Art" series  designed by Olav Joa for Polaris in Sandnes- Norway in the 1970s. The bowl has a half circle shape with geometic patterns and relieffs on the outside. Perfect for any small items. Signed under with Ola Joa and Cast Stainless Steel. Olav Joa (1942) worked for Figgjo since 1983. He retired in 2011. Olav Joa`s products represent a wide range in Figgjo's range and he made the Polaris selection in 1972.
Olav Joa`s Polaris "Steel Art" selection is known for its Cast Steel with geometrical midcentury patterns from Norway. They consist of small production pieces and are of heavy quality steel designs.
