Stunning and elegant mid-century brass candle chandelier with six candle holders by Pierre Forssell for Skultuna - Sweden 1960s. The six candeholders have a brass back shield giving a calm and relaxing light into your room when the candles are lit. Hangs on a solid brass chain. 
Signed with Skultuna 1607 and Pierre Forsells signature. Good vintage condition.

Measures : 43cmH x 25cmD. Total lenght: 124 cmH.

Pierre Oskar Paul Forssell was born 1925 in Stockholm and died in 2004. He was a Swedish designer, craftsman and silversmith. Forsell worked for Gense in 1952–1964 where he designed the fork Piruett and the cutlery series Spectra (1961). He performed works for Skultuna from 1955 to 1986, for example the wall lamps Pendel and Reflex. He also designed sacred art in brass, such as crosses and candlesticks for a number of churches.
