Lovely bronze brooch designed by Uni David-Andersen for David Andersen AS in the 1960s Norway. The broch has a Viking inspired look with a rectangular shape and geometric patterns. An excellent example of the Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern jewelry. Stamp on backside with: uni d-a bronze, inv.ut. Good vintage condition.
Measure: 6 cmL x 3.5 cmW. 

Uni David-Andersen was the great grand daughter of the founder of the company and took over the workshop of David-Andersen. She introduced a number of now well known female designers - being one of them -In the 1960s, Uni and her team of woman designers were pushing boundaries with their technical innovations and original designs.
