The most beautiful necklace ever?Silver neck ring with a lovely green enamel pendant. The pendant is made with a mirror enamel technic and gives a great shine to it consisting of a double layer design and it can be worn in two ways (reversible). Designed by Bjørn Sigurd Østern (1935-) and produced by David Andersen in the 1970s. Pendant width: ca 6 cm. depth: 1 cm. height: 9,5 cm. Neck ring: 13 cmH x 14,5 cm W. Stamp on backside: "D-A NORWAY STERLING 925S.
Bjørn Sigurd Østern is a Norwegian jewelrydesigner employed at David-Andersen A/S, Oslo from 1961-72. Bjørn Sigurd Østern has been one of the most distinguished designers in the Norwegian jewlery industry for decades. This jewelry was made in different colors of enamel, using patterns in the silver under the enamel to add to the design. Bjørn Sigurd Østern favours the clean Scandinavian style with a use of enamel that bears influences from the very distinct Georg Jensen enamel jewelry as well.
