Teak Folding table "Ellipse" nr. 2  by Bendt Winge (1907-1983). Kleppes Møbelfabrikk. Made in Norway 1950-60`s.
Measures folded: L: 22cm, D:88 cm x74 cm. Unfolded: L. 150 cm, D. 88 cm, H. 74 cm. Plates: 65 cm. 

In the 1950`s Bendt Winge collaborated with Kleppe Møbelfabrikk about a number of tables. Together they developed a table that resulted in "Klaffebord nr. 1" with space for 12 people. It eventually became a major international export article, not least to the United States. Shortly thereafter, "Klaffebord nr. 2" came half the length and almost identical to its predecessor.
