A pair of cylindershaped and smokecoloured ceilingpendants with inner cores of white glass made by Høvik Lamps 1965. Designed by Jonas Hidle, Norway.
Gives a really nice and unique shine and glow of light when lit. Measures of shades: 25 cmD. Total height 75 cmH but they are adjustable.

Jonas Hidle grew up in Stavanger, Norway and after graduation in 1932 he studied as architect at NTH in Trondheim, graduated in 1937. After a few years of practice as an architect in Oslo, he was taken to Christiania Glassmagasin as head of the drawing office in 1942, with the main focus of light fixture . His first challenge was collaborated with the architects at the new City Hall in Oslo about lighting rooms and rooms. The chandeliers were carried out by Hadeland Glassworks and Høvik Verk, and were completed in 1948-49.  Most of Hidles products are special ordered lighting equipment. Some of these fixtures have been used for several missions and some are later put into production. The main materials in Hidles work are glass and brass, both used in a variety of different techniques and often mixed together.
