Einar Forseth (1892-1982), born August 7, 1892 in Linköping, died December 5, 1988 in Stockholm. Forseth was a Swedish artist, illustrator, designer and professor.
Einar Forseth is perhaps best known for his Byzantine-inspired gold mosaics in the Golden Hall of Stockholm's town hall, where the walls are covered with 18.6 million mosaic pieces or glass, gold and color with Mälardrottningen and allegorical figures and fantasies of ultra modern style completed in during the spring of 1923.
