Norwegian Vintage sterling silver necklace Thor's Hammer with a handhammered silver clave. The pendant is designed by Bjørn Sigurd Østern and produced by David Andersen. This mid-century jewelry was based on the mythical hammer of the God Thor and was one of the items in the 'Silver Series', launched in 1966 following the earlier 'Stone Series' of 1964. Together, they formed the 'Troll series', David-Andersen's entry into modern design.
