Beautiful lounge chair with woven cane back rest and original dark brown wool cushions by Hans Olsen for Juul Kristensen, Denmark 1960s.  Slightly tilted cane back rest with lovely details on armrests which are gathered into a handle on the back of the chair. Made from solid teak, woven cane and steel. Cushions are removable. Very good vintage condition.
Measures:  ca 75cmH x  73,5cmD x 71cmW. Seat height ca 40 cm.

Hans Olsen (1919-1992) was a student of Kaare Klint at the Royal Danish Academy Furniture School from 1941 to 1943 and belongs to a group of Danish furniture designers who chose to experiment with both form and materials.
