Lovely adjustable vintage silver ring with rectangular shape designed by Elis Kauppi for Kupittaan Kulta, Åbo Finland 1970s. In the middle -  four uneven buttons raising up through the plate. Wave shaped from the side: Measures: 3.5 cmH x 2 cmW x 3 cmD. Adjustable size, at the moment 18 cmD.
Good vintage condition. Hallmarked Kupittaan Kulta makers mark and 925S.

Elis Kauppi (1921 - 2004) established Kupittaan Kulta in Åbo, Finland in 1945 at the end of the Second World War, at age 24. His use of local semi-precious stones and innovative design resulted in increased attention, and by 1958 he was an award winning regular exhibitor at international shows.
