A stunning mid-century Danish brutalist ceiling pendant designed in the 1960s by designer Svend Aage Holm Sørensen for  Holm Sørensen & Co AS. This vintage brass lamp has an acid-treated and torch-cut look in a brutalistic design. It gives a lovely and magic shine when lit. Perfect in any room. Marked with Holm Sørensen & Co AS.  Nr 6435 D. Made in Denmark. Good vintage condition. Brass chain and adjustable height.
Size: 40cmH x 35cmD. 

Svend Aage Holm Sørensen is a Scandinavian designer -  more Mediterranean in his expressions, though he is a Dane. The Holm Sørensen lamps had a typical retro expression in 1950-60´s, and the lamps in the United States, Italy and France were slightly more sculpted, outrageous and funny and not just as fine serene as the Arne Jacobsen lamps.
