Midcentury brass clip earrings with a dark purple glass stone in the middle with a cut rock shape. Designed by Anna Greta Eker, Norway, 1960s.  A typical couple of vintage earrings reflecting some of the best work within design and silversmith art by Anna Greta Eker. Stamped AGE. Measures: Depth 1 cm, 3 cm x 3 cm. Good vintage condition.

Anna Greta Eker was born in Mariehamn, Finland 1926 and moved to Norway in the 1950s marrying Erling Christofferson, leader of PLUS in Fredrikstad. 
Anna Greta Eker was a key figure in the PLUS organisation.
Most of Eker’s jewellery featured the geometric and organic forms. When jewellery production at PLUS came to an end in the late 70s, Eker started up her own workshop using her artist name ‘AGE’ as her hallmark.
