Lovely Scandinavian modern design necklace with four dangles of silver and wood. A special vintage pendant by Norwegian silversmith Anna Greta Eker. Manufacturer: PLUS Norway 1960`s. This wonderful vintage necklace has double layer floors with strands of brown wooden beads. Well marked with her champion stamp AGE, ND (Nordic design) Norway design, PLUS, Sterling 925s. Delivered in the original jewelry box.
Measures: Pendant width: ca 5 cm. depth: 0,5 cm. height: 15,5 cm. Clave: 14 cmH x 13,5 cmW.
 
Anna Greta Eker was born in Mariehamn, Finland 1926 and moved to Norway in the 1950s where she married Erling Christofferson, leader of PLUS in Fredrikstad. PLUS operated from 1958 to 1978 and was an artist colony of designers. They were renowned for its quality and superb Scandinavian modern design.
Anna Greta Eker was an important midcentury designer of the 1960s and a key figure in the PLUS organisation.
