A lovely pair of wall lamps made of polished brass and smoke clear glassdomes. This lamp model V212/A is designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson in Markaryd, Sweden in the 1960s. The shades has a cone shape with an open top. Good vintage condition.

Hans- Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009 ) was a Swedish decorator and furniture designer active in the 1950s-70s. Jakobsson was born on Gotland, Sweden in 1919. After graduating he was hired by General Motors and then as an assistant to both Carl Malmsten (1888-1972) and Werner West (1890-1959).
Hans- Agne Jakobssons lighting received great international attention. He was experimenting with a wide range of materials as brass, iron, glass, fabric, and wood.
