A stunning pair of mid-century Danish brutalist wall lamps designed in the 1960s by designer Svend Aage Holm Sørensen for  Holm Sørensen & Co AS. These brass sconces has an acid-treated and torch-cut look in a brutalistic design. They give a lovely and magic shine when lit. Marked with Holm Sørensen & Co AS.  Nr 5207 D.

Svend Aage Holm Sørensen is a Scandinavian designer who is more Mediterranean in his expressions, though he is a Dane.
Holm Sørensen lamps has a typically retro expression around 1950-60´s, and the lamps in the United States, Italy and France were slightly more sculpted, outrageous or funny and not just as fine serene as Arne Jacobsens lamps. Good vintage condition.
