Midcentury cognac colored hanging glass ceiling lamp Bubblan or " the Bubble" by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors Glass 1965, Sweden 1950s. Model RD 2177/117. Round shaped design lamp with a calming light projecting downwards and a pleasant shine streaming out from the dark tinted glass shade. Inner crystal glass core with relieff. Adjustable upwards and downwards by the brass chain.
Measure: shade: 38 cmD x 23 cmH. Max hanging lenght 145 cmH. 

Carl Fagerlund (1915-211) was a talented Swedish lighting designer and worked at Orrefors glassworks between 1946-1980. He achieved great success with lighting systems for General Motors and the Kennedy Center in the United States.
